Revision of current policies of marketing crude oil approved

SANA'A, March 15 (Saba)- Ministerial Committee for marketing crude
oil held its first meeting on Monday headed by prime minister Ali
Mujawar and approved revision of the current policies of marketing
cruel oil.

The committee asked the Minister of Oil and Minerals to prepare a
draft of decision to select an international consultation company to
develop these policies, affirming importance of presenting monthly
report over results of the committee.It also asked the minister to
issue a decision to form a assistant technical committee to run
technical aspects related to oil marketing.

Mujawar pointed out to the directives of President Ali Abdullah
Saleh to enhance transparency in work of the committee and
possibilities of benefiting from experiences of the oil countries in
field of marketing in order to develop process of marketing Yemeni
crude oil.

Then, the prime minister paid a visit to the building of oil and
mineral ministry where he affirmed importance of comprehensive
strategy for the oil sector. He said that the government concerns to
develop tasks of the ministry.
