Transport Minister, French company discuss Broum port project

SANA'A, March 15 (Saba) - Minister of Transport Khaled al-Wazir has
met with a delegation from the French company authorized to review
engineering studies and designs related to the new Broum port
project in Hadramout governorate.

During the meeting, al-Wazir has highlighted the importance of Broum
port and the government's interest on carrying out this project.

He has confirmed that Broum port would advance the investment and
trade exchange movement between Yemen and the regional countries.

The Ports Director at the French company has confirmed the company's
seriousness to speed up the implementation of study's review to be
completed according to the set timeframe of the contract.

It is worth mentioning that the study signed by the Transport
Ministry with the French Company lately included also a long-term
plan for developing Broum port for the upcoming 30 years.
