SP confirms Yemen's keenness on securing Red Sea

SANA'A, March 14 (Saba) - Speaker of Parliament Yahya al-Rae'i
confirmed on Saturday the keenness of the countries overlooking the
Red Sea on securing this international marine route, combating
piracy acts in Gulf of Aden and off Somali coasts.

During his meeting with chairman of the Ethiopian side at the
Yemeni-Ethiopian parliamentary friendship Committee Mohammed Ali,
al-Rae'i hailed the existing mutual ties between Yemen and Ethiopia,
urging the importance of boosting them to advance such ties at
several levels between the two countries.

For his part, Ali said that his visit to Yemen and meeting with
officials aim to improve mutual ties between the two countries and
serve the Yemeni and Ethiopian peoples' interests.
