The Iraqi Film (The Journey) Represents Iraq In The World Oscars Festival

Baghdad / NINA / - Iraq has announced its participation in the International Academy of Oscars, where the film / the Journey / directed by Mohamed Jabara Darraji was chosen to represent Iraq in the nominations of 2019 International Academy Awards. The media campaign in America and the rest of the world to nominate the film for the Academy Award will be sponsored by the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) funded by Iraqi banks. Choosing the film to represent Iraq came after the success in international forums and its first display in Toronto Film Festival, the London Festival, Dubai and other international festivals, and after its remarkable success in the Iraqi cinemas, which restores the confidence in the Iraqi film after 27 years of stop. Specialists in film making praised it as it is one of the most important Arabic films for the year 2017.
