Iran, champion of free-style wrestling in Takhti Cup

Tehran, March 14, IRNA ? The 29th International Free-Style Wrestling
Championship dubbed as "Takhti Cup" ended Friday evening here with the
victory of Iranian team.

In the competitions, 131 wrestlers from Iran, USA, Dagestan Republic
of Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Iraq, Turkmenistan, Cuba and Uzbekistan
competed with each other for 2-days.
Iran stood first with 68 points and teams from Dagestan and the USA
with 30 and 19 points, respectively,stood second and third.
Iran grabbed five gold medals while Ukraine and Dagestan wrestlers got
only two gold medals.
