Iran calls for facilitating exports to Iraq

Ardebil, Sept 12, IRNA – Member of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture presiding board called for facilitating exports to the neighboring countries, especially Iraq. Addressing a meeting with the economic activists of Ardebil, Hossein Pir Moazen said government should be coordinated with private sector as regard to issuing circulars. Meanwhile, deputy head of Ardebil Chamber of commerce, industry, mine and agriculture Behrouz Pour Soleiman referred to currency and its exchange as one of the problems for exporters. The heavy tariffs identified by Iraq for some export products have brought problems for Iranian businessmen. He also called for removing export restrictions, saying developing trade ties with the neighboring countries should be taken into account.
