‘MONGOLIA TRY-2018’ ADVOCACY CAMPAIGN BEGINS

Arkhangai /MONTSAME/ Participants of the ‘Mongolia Try-2018’ advocacy campaign worked in Arkhangai aimag, launching the campaign last month. Present at the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia U.Enkhtuvshin and Governor of the aimag Ts.Munkhnasan, introducing government policy and decisions towards people with disabilities. At the opening ceremony, specialists of the Governor’s Office of Arkhangai aimag held discussions and put forward a number of proposals regarding the support for people with disabilities to the Governor’s Office and Citizens' Representative Khural of the aimag. The ‘Mongolia Try-2018’ is taking place in compliance with the Law on Rights of People with disabilities adopted in 2016, with involvement of 36 individuals, including people with disabilities and volunteers from Ulaanbaatar, Umnugobi, Dornod, Selenge, Khovd, Akhangai and Zavkhan aimags of Mongolia and a Japanese citizen. Some six international and domestic organizations under the support of Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Ya.Sanjmyatav, Ministry of Labor and Social protection as well as Governor’s offices of Arkhangai and Zavkhan aimags are organizing the campaign.
