Health minister discusses cooperation with USAID

WASHINGTON, March 12 (Saba)- Minister of Public Health and
Population Abdul-Karim Rase discussed on Thursday in Washington with
head of the Near Middle East Department at the US Agency for
International Development (USAID) George Lawnado aspects of current
cooperation between Yemen and the agency, specially in the health
sector.

During the meeting, Rase praised the support presented by the agency
for development in Yemen and health sector in particular, wishing
this support to get continued and increased.

For his part, the USAID official voiced readiness of the agency to
increase allocations for development of Yemen, noting the strong
relations between Yemen and the United States of America.
