SPECIAL ADVISOR TO JAPAN'S PRIME MINISTER CALLS ON PM U. KHURELSUKH

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh received K.Sonoura, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan, on August 28. Friendly ties and cooperation between Mongolia and Japan are expanding year to year and high-level reciprocal visits have been regularized. This time, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe plans to invite Prime Minister of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh to pay an official visit to Japan, informed Mr. K.Sonoura. At the meeting, the sides agreed that same positions of the two countries on ensuring sustainability and security in Northeast Asia and on Asia-Pacific regional issues bring positive outcomes in cooperation, along the development of diplomatic relations. PM U.Khurelsukh expressed gratitude to the Government of Japan for rendering support of USD 850 million to Mongolia within the IMF Extended Fund Facility Arrangement. In response, Japanese side expressed satisfactions with actions of the Mongolian Government on overcoming economic difficulties, stabilizing and growing its economy. B.Batchimeg
