AZERBAIJAN-ROMANIA TRADE REACHES $160.4 MILLION

Baku, March 11 (AzerTAc). Trade between Azerbaijan and Romania reached $160.4
million in 2008, increasing by 23% in comparison with 2007.
According to Romanian State Statistic Committee, the export from Romania to
Azerbaijan averaged $17 million, while import made up $142.9 million.
According to Romanian embassy in Baku, in comparison with 2007, the export increased
for 105%.
Azerbaijan mostly exports oil products to Romania, while Romania - chemical
products, metals, equipment and furniture.
