Yemen, Switzerland discus expatriates issues

SANA'A, March 11 (Saba)- Undersecretary of Expatriates Affairs for
communities affairs Abdul-Qader Hamam discussed on Wednesday with
Swiss Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs cooperation between the two
countries in expatriates field.

The meeting dealt with means for solving issues of Yemeni
expatriates in Switzerland and reducing emigration sufferings,
especially those regarding difficulties they face while transferring
money after September, 11, 2001. The two parts also discussed role
of International Emigration Organization in supporting the project
of countries receiving and exporting labors.

The Swiss official expressed his country's readiness for cooperation
and approximation of viewpoints for pushing the organization and
other concerned organizations for carrying out their duties and
implementing projects they agreed upon.
