"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic recommends citizens of Kyrgyzstan, working in European countries, be vigilant in providing the employer with personal data in connection with the potential possibility of using them with the aim of involving illegal incomes in illegal schemes," the report said. According to data of Austrian law enforcement agencies, 35 such crimes were registered in 2018 with the participation of citizens of Ukraine, Russia, Tajikistan, Macedonia, Georgia, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. A citizen of Kyrgyzstan was accused in one of these crimes, the case against of whom was closed due to the consular and legal assistance rendered by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Austria. "In case of such circumstances, it is necessary to address the law enforcement bodies of the host country, as well as to diplomatic missions and consular institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad," the Foreign Ministry said.
