Ukrainian goods are out of transit. Russia extended the ban on transporting certain goods from Ukraine to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan through the country by the end of the year. Since July 2016, the ban has been extended with respect to goods from Ukraine going to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan through Russian territory. In January, the decree was extended until June 30, 2018. It became known that Russia can lift the ban on the transit of goods from Ukraine to the Eurasian Economic Union, if it will be possible to trace the entire path of the goods. Dried plum to Europe. At the meeting of the Working Group on Nuts and Dried Produce of the UNECE Economic Commission for Europe in Geneva, the Kyrgyz side proposed to include certain provisions of the draft standard for the dried plum DDP-07 produced in Kyrgyzstan. At the meeting, in accordance with its Agenda, the UNECE draft quality standards for dried products: plum, bananas, coconut, papaya were discussed. The active participation of representatives of Central Asian countries in the process of standardization of dried products was stressed at the meeting and it was highly appreciated the work done to prepare an explanatory brochure for dried apricot according to the DDP-15 standard. The duration of the harmonization process for the DDP-07 standard has been extended for another 6 months, during which interested parties can send their proposals to the Secretariat of the UNECE Working Group on Nuts and Dried Produce. Patents on Internet. The State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic since July 1, 2018 launched a pilot project in Bishkek and Osh on issuing a patent electronically through the agency's website. This will allow to issue a patent to remotely, through the website, which simplifies the process of obtaining a voluntary, mandatory patent and patent for an employee engaged in activities subject to mandatory patenting. "Taxpayers do not have to go every time to the tax service, because you they can buy a patent at any time of the day via the Internet, without leaving the office (shop) or home. And the payment for a patent can be paid through terminals, ATMs, automated self-service terminals, other devices that accept bank payment cards, " the State Tax Service explained. Need in Kazakh petrol. According to data of the Association of Oil Traders of Kyrgyzstan, in the first half of this year, 504.5 thousand tons of oil products were imported to Kyrgyzstan, of which 234 thousand tons of petrol, and 270.5 thousand tons of diesel fuel. At the beginning of July, the volume of commodity balances amounted to 84 thousand tons, of which 43 thousand tons are petrol, and 41 thousand tons - diesel fuel. The Association predicts that the available reserves will not be sufficient until the end of this year, and the volumes for diesel can be exhausted for 8 months, for gasoline and jet fuel - for 10 months. At the same time, import rates exceed last year's 12%. To solve the problem of providing the republic with the necessary amount of fuel, the Association proposes to diversify the sources of supplies, and buy oil products not only from Russia, but also from Kazakhstan. Audit of the Naryn Upper cascade of HPPs. This week, the Kyrgyz Chamber of Accounts announced that an independent international audit will be conducted by RusHydro on the construction of the Naryn upper cascade of the HPPs. This was announced during the IV meeting of heads of audit bodies of the SCO countries. Ulugbek Maripov, head of the Accounting Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic said that earlier negotiations were held with the Russian side regarding the audit. "According to the Russian side, RusHydro is a joint stock company and it is not financed from the federal budget. Therefore, the Russian side proposed an independent international audit. This was written in the agreement," he said. Instant response of RusHydro. In response, RusHydro said that "this statement is not true." The company never made a proposal to conduct an independent international audit of the construction project of the Naryn upper cascade of the HPPs in Naryn oblast and posted a statement on its official website. Trade with Ukraine. The initiators intend to intensify trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine. This was announced during the meetings during the fact-finding visit to Ukraine of the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan this week. In Kiev, at the Kyrgyz-Ukrainian business forum, businessmen from both countries had an opportunity to discuss prospects for further possible cooperation. It was noted that "the two countries have all the prerequisites for effective partnership." In 2017 the trade turnover between the countries reached the sum of 50 million US dollars.
