Chinese businessmen plan to invest in Jalal-Abad oblast

Osh, July 2, 2018 / Kabar /. Governor of Jalal-Abad oblast met on Sunday with businessmen from China’s Shanxi Province. During the meeting, the sides headed by chairman of the Kyrgyz association of Shanxi entrepreneurs, Mr. Yue He Fu and the oblast’s governor Kyianbek Satybaldiev,signed a Protocol on intentions for cooperation. Jalal-Abad oblast state administration and the Central Asian International Development of Shanxi Province of China concluded a Protocol of Intent on the following: 1.1. To strengthen friendship between the Chinese and Kyrgyz peoples, search for mutually beneficial economic interests, establish close cooperation in attracting new innovative technologies and investments. 1.2. Implementation of joint actions to promote local economy development, promotion and implementation of investment projects in the field of mineral resources development, development of electric power industry, processing of agricultural products, logistics industrial chain and tourism industry, popularization of the region's attractions on the principles of mutual trust, constructiveness, transparency and efficiency. During the visit, Chinese investors were offered to build a logistics center on 20 hectares of land in the village of Barpy, introduced the export potential of nuts from Arstanbap to China and acquainted with the plant in Tash-Kumyr for the production of technical silicon.
