Iran, China call for expansion of artistic ties
Beijing, March 9, IRNA -- Top official of Iran’s Arts Academy Bahman Namvar Motlaq said further cooperation between the Iranian and Chinese artists will help arts in both countries flourish.
In a meeting with a number of Chinese arts officials, he pointed to the longstanding interaction and communication between the two counties throughout the history and said such ties have always helped create progressive works by the artists of both countries.
Expressing satisfaction over signing of a cooperation agreement between the two countries in artistic affairs, he hoped the document marks a new beginning for artistic cooperation between the two old countries.
One of the Chinese arts officials participating in the meeting pointed to the great value his country attached to Iranian artists and their works and said that signing of the agreement was a big achievement for their artists.
