South Korea will grant Kyrgyzstan $ 3.5 mln to improve living conditions of rural residents

Bishkek, June 27, 2018. / Kabar/. Director of the State Agency for Local Self-Government and Inter-Ethnic Relations of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakhtiyar Saliev held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Kyrgyzstan Jung Byiong-hoo and representatives of the KOICA in the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the press service of the State Agency, during the meeting the issue of coordinating the project "My village" was discussed. The project is planned by the Republic of Korea to provide a gratuitous grant of $ 3.5 million to improve the living conditions of rural residents.
The State Agency for Local Self-Government and Inter-Ethnic Relations is interested in the implementation of the Project in the development of the LSG and the Year of Regional Development, announced by the President.
It was noted that the implementation of the project will contribute to the development of local self-government bodies, which is important in the framework of the Year of Regional Development.
