22 CIVIL SERVANTS TO STUDY IN JAPAN WITH SCHOLARSHIP

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An intergovernmental exchange of notes on implementation of the Project for Human Resource Development with Japanese grant aid was signed by Minister of Finance Ch.Khurelbaatar and Ambassador of Japan to Mongolia Masato Takaoka on June 25.
The project costs JPY 309 million in total which includes expenses of training young civil servants in master and doctoral level programs in Japan with scholarship. In 2018, 22 young people will be involved in training after graduation.
A total of 300 civil servants have studied in Japan benefitting from the scholarship program which has been implementing since 2001. The graduates are working effieciently in governmental and administrative organizations, the Bank of Mongolia and the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
