EU's diplomats keep on supporting democracy in Yemen

SANA'A, March 08 (Saba) - The ambassadors of European Union (EU)
affirmed on Sunday during a meeting with Vice President Abdu Rabu
Mansur Hadi their countries support for the democratic, political
and economic fields in Yemen.

The ambassadors include diplomats of Czech, Italy, France, Spain,
United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, Bulgaria and the charge
d'affaires of European Commission.

During the meeting, Hadi talked to them over issues concerning with
the democracy and multi-parties in Yemen, reviewing the political
disagreements that came out with delaying the parliamentary
elections for two years.

He also briefed them on the details of the agreement that has been
made between the General People Congress and the Joint Meeting
Parties (JMP), which was included the delay of the election based on
the JMP's demand.

The EU's officials reviewed the cooperation areas and the importance
of keeping on holding the periodical meetings to follow up and
evaluate the performance in the coming two years to access to the
coming elections in accordance with the desired procedures.
