Iranian company supplying fuel for foreign ships in southern Iran
Tehran, March 8, IRNA – About 20 percent of the fuel needed by foreign ships anchored in Bandar Abbas in the southern province of Hormuzgan, is being provided by an Iranian company, it was reported on Sunday.
The Marine Service Company has started supplying fuel services for foreign ships in the southern port city since two years ago, said the company’s chairman Mohammad-Mehdi Abdol-Razaq.
He told IRNA that the company would be capable of supplying over 50 percent of the fuel needed by foreign ships docked in Bandar Abbas should some existing problems facing it be removed in the future.
Stressing that foreign ships preferred to purchase their needed fuels from Iran, Abdol-Razaq said that his company was capable of offering its fuel services up to 120,000 tons per day./end
