4th national woman conference to be opened on Saturday

SANA'A, March 06 (Saba) - Fourth National Woman Conference will
discuss on Saturday condition of the Yemeni woman and her issues
under slogan of hand in hand for better future for Yemen."

The two-day conference is organized by the Women National Committee
and 500 participants will take part in the conference, chairwoman of
the committee Rashidah al-Hamadani told Saba.

Al-Hamadani added that the conference would discuss 16 papers
presented by academicians and specialists in issues of women in the
government and non government bodies.

She made it clear that papers would deal with the legal amendments
of laws associated with women and reality of girl education.

Al-Hamadani added that the conference would evaluate the development
plan of reducing poverty and implementation of the chamber No. ten
of the plan over women empowerment and combating viloance against
women.
