ICRC to rehabilitate prisoners in Yemen

SANA'A, March 04 (Saba)- Deputy Interior Minister Saleh Hussein
al-Zuari discussed on Wednesday with the chief of the Office of
International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Sana'a Donia
Dawood joint cooperation on rehabilitation and training of
prisoners.

During their meeting here, the Yemeni official showed his Ministry's
keenness to provide all facilities to implement ICRC's programs
related to improving the conditions of prisoners, reviewing Yemen's
efforts to upgrade the areas of training and rehabilitation and
provide care to prisoners.

For her part, the ICRC official reviewed the aspects of cooperation
and coordination between the international organization and Yemen's
Prisons Authority as well as programs that have been implemented in
this area in a number of Yemeni provinces.
