Yemen condemns ICC decision on Sudan's Al-Bashir

SANA'A, March 04 (Saba)- The Republic of Yemen condemned on
Wednesday decision of the International Criminal Court (ICC) to
issue a notice of suspension against President of Sudan Omar Umar
Hassan Ahmad Al-Bashir.

An official source stated to Saba that "this decision indicates a
dangerous onset of intrusion in Arab countries affairs and their
sovereignty and it does not serve efforts of settling peace in
Darfur and threatens security and security in the region."

"At the time the UN Security Council and the ICC did not take a real
action to prosecute the real Israeli war criminals who committed
massacres in the Gaza Strip, they did not hesitate negatively point
fingers at those who serve peace and defended peace and stability of
their countries," the sources added.

It said that "Yemen demands the UN Security Council which referred
Darfur issue to the ICC to reconsider this unjust procedure and
activate article No. 16 of the ICC agreement to serve security and
stability in Sudan and the region."
