Yemen- Britain discuss police cooperation

SANA'A, March, 4 (Saba)- Minister of Interior Mutahar al-Mesri
discussed on Wednesday with British team of managing the project of
improving judiciary and police, headed by UK embassy's good
governance officer, cooperation in field of improving judiciary and
police.

The two parts discussed the achievements realized by the joint
committee as well as programs and plans they agreed upon. These
programs and plans aim at boosting and improving performance of the
policeman and enhancing his relation with the citizen.

The minister indicated that the ministry has recently carried out
field survey for knowing different public opinions over performance
of the policeman and results the ministry has reached.

For her part, the British official highlighted the role played by
interior ministry on taking care of the work of the joint committee
as well as the achievement of the team composed from the two parts.
