25 countries participate in King Abdullah International Prize

Riyadh, March 03, SPA -- Dr. Saeed bin Fayez Al-Saeed, Director and
Chairman of the academic arbitration committee of the Custodian of
the Two Holy Mosques International Prize for Translation, said that
the prize in its second version received works from 25 countries
competing to win the prize; of which 13 countries are Arab, 12
countries are non-Arab. Target and source languages reached 14.

Dr. Al-Saeed stated that the 5-branch prize succeeded in
soliciting many scientific and intellectual works translated to and
from Arabic by top scientists and literary figures from east and
west.
