TNB AMONG MOST ADMIRED COMPANY IN ASEAN

KUALA LUMPUR, March 3 (Bernama) -- Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has been named
as the top three most admired company in Association of South-East Asian Nations
(Asean) in the employment category of the Asean Business Awards 2008 (ABA).

In a statement here Tuesday, TNB, Malaysia's main energy provider, said it
was invited to participate based on its excellent performance in 2007-2008.

"The judges noted our strong points in the area of human resource planning,
performance management system and the establishment of University of Tenaga
Nasional," it said.

The ABA 2008 awards, organised by the Asean Business Advisory Council, were
presented during a dinner of the Asean Business and Investment Summit in Bangkok
on Feb 27, 2009.
