UAE President bestows 'Order of Independence' on US Ambassador

WASHINGTON, 10th April, 2018 (WAM) -- President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has bestowed the Order of Independence (First Class) on the outgoing US Ambassador to the UAE Barbara Leaf, in recognition of her efforts to strengthen relations between the UAE and the US in all fields. Yousef Mana'a Saeed Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States of America, presented the Order at his office in the UAE Embassy in Washington on Monday. Al Otaiba wished Leaf success in her future work, praising her role in enhancing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
