Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques chairs Cabinet session 3
The Cabinet valued the convening of the international conference for
Gaza reconstruction in the Arab Republic of Egypt on the kind
invitation of President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, expressing Saudi
Arabia's hope that the conference will achieve its intended goals to
rally international support for Gaza reconstruction and provide
support for building the Palestinian economy after the Israeli
aggression.
The Cabinet also listened to a report on the outcome of the meeting
of the Gulf Cooperation Council’s foreign ministers in its 110th
session in Riyadh on joint cooperation since the end of the previous
session of the Ministerial Council in all fields, and developments of
the most prominent and important regional and international political
issues.
The Cabinet expressed the hope of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that
the proceedings of the Special International Tribunal on Lebanon that
commenced its session in the Hague yesterday to try those convicted
of terrorist crimes in Lebanon, topped by the assassination of former
Lebanese premier Rafiq Al-Hariri, will serve the justice sought by
all.
