The Minister noted that the Cabinet reviewed a number of topics on
its agenda and issued the following decisions:
The Cabinet approved the amendment of paragraph 1 of article 3 of
the agreement between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
and the government of Indonesia on regular air transport approved by
the royal decree number m/58 dated on 8/11/1409 H. to be as follows:
"1- Each contracting party can assign in writing to the other
contracting party one or more airlines for the purpose of operating
the agreed upon services".
After reviewing the study by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and
Antiquities on the subject of archeological sites and architectural
heritage sites owned by citizens, proposal of appropriate solutions
for expropriation and solving the issue of compensating their owners,
the Cabinet approved a number of measures enabling the Saudi
Commission for Tourism and Antiquities to deal with all aspects of
this subject according to the detailed provisions stated in the
decision. The decision also stated that the Saudi Commission for
Tourism and Antiquities shall study the measures through which owners
of the architectural heritage sites can be encouraged to preserve,
maintain and restore their buildings through a number of measures
including:
