Prince Saud Al Faisal delivers a Speech 5 Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt

The foreign minister stressed that reconstruction will not be
feasible under insecurity and instability, and that it is
unacceptable and unreasonable to implement reconstruction while
Israel comes to destroy and ravish it, calling on the international
community to let Israel bear the legal and financial consequences of
its aggression and not to view the situation with double standards.

He said that peace, stability and development are intertwined
dimensions that cannot be achieved separately. This requires
cooperation between all regional and international parties to achieve
them. We call on the international community to bear its
responsibility towards the desired peace. The donors' support will
not be effective unless coincides with strong commitment to the
reconstruction program and economic reform without political conflict
that makes Palestinian people miss many chances.

Once again, he demanded the Palestinian factions to bear their
responsibilities and assure the donors that their monies will find
the stable and proper environment to invest them effectively and
efficiently for the long-suffered Palestinian human being.

In conclusion, Prince Saud Al-Faisal expressed hope that the
conference would turn to be a success in mustering the desired
support for reconstruction of Gaza, and contribute to removing all
obstacles before the help extended for the Palestinian people to
overcome their humanitarian and economic ordeal, rebuild their
economy and realize their aspirations.
