Yemen, Oman approves mechanisms to solve mobile networks interconnection

SANA'A, March 02 (Saba)- Yemen and Oman agreed on Monday by the end
of technical teams' talks to solve technical interconnection between
the GSM operating networks in the two countries.

The two sides agreed on some new technical mechanisms ensuring
overlapping of mobile phones signals in the border areas.

During the talks, the two countries reviewed their experiences in
the field of telecommunication and information technology and
discussed the possibilities of benefiting from each other, specially
Yemen to benefit from Oman's experience in establishing an authority
to organize communication.
