Prime Minister Receives UAE Ambassador To Iraq

BAGHDAD, IRAQ (NINA) - Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said Iraqis will win the rebuilding and reconstruction of their country. Abadi, during his meeting with the UAE ambassador to Baghdad Hassan Ahmed al-Shehhi, stressed "Iraq's keenness to strengthen relations with the UAE and all countries on the basis of mutual interests and service of the two peoples." He added, "Iraq is currently at the forefront of the countries that fight terrorism after defeating Daesh gangs militarily and the Iraqis will also win the reconstruction of their country." For his part, the UAE ambassador conveyed the greetings and the blessing of the UAE government and people to liberate the entire Iraqi territories and praised the security stability achieved in Iraq, indicating that Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and through his belief in the relations between the two brotherly countries and the role of Iraq in the fight against terrorism presented an initiative to reconstruct Al-Nouri Mosque and the Hadba minaret in Mosul. The UAE ambassador said a special envoy from the United Arab Emirates would come to Baghdad for this purpose./ End
