President Saleh holds talks with Indonesian counterpart

JAKARTA, Mar. 01 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh held talks on
Sunday with the Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in the
Indonesian capital, Jakarta.

The talks dealt with the bilateral ties and means of strengthening
the joint cooperation in oil, gas and mineral field as well as the
scientific and cultural fields.

Saleh and Yudhoyono discussed several issues included in the fifth
World Islamic Economic Forum's agenda, top of which is the global
financial crisis and its impacts on the Islamic countries' economies.

They also talked about the territorial and international issues and
developments of common interests and Muslim nation's issues.
