Yemen, Oman sign technical education cooperation Memo

SANA'A, Mar. 01 (Saba) - Yemen and Oman signed here on Sunday a
memorandum of understanding in technical education and vocational
training cooperation.

The Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training and
Omani Ministry of Manpower signed the memo in the conclusion of the
two-day 9th Round of the Yemeni-Omani Joint Ministerial Committee
that was co-chaired by Minister of Transport Khaled al-Wazir and the
Omani Minister of Transport and Communication Khamis Bin Mubarak
al-Alawi.

The Memo includes exchanging systems, programs, studies, expertise,
information, holding joint conferences, workshops and visits.

At the conclusion of the two-day 9th Round, the two sides signed a
number of agreements to enhance joint cooperation between Yemen and
Oman in various fields, including a mechanism on applying the
agreement of passengers and goods' transport on land routes between
the two friendly countries.

Yemen and Oman signed also a mechanism on the Yemeni-Omani marine
committee performance for following up the implementation of the
marine transport agreement between the two friendly countries.

Moreover, the two sides signed the minute of the 9th Round of the
Yemeni-Omani Joint Ministerial Committee meetings that includes
reinforcing joint cooperation in land, air, maritime transport,
trade, industry, investment, specification, custom, environment,
agriculture, tourism, social care and communication.
