Parliament deputy speaker meets Hamas representative in Sana'a
SANA'A, Mar. 01(Saba) - Deputy Speaker of Parliament Himyar Bin
Abdullah al-Ahmar received on Sunday representative of Palestinian
Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) Jamal Issa.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and developments on the
Palestinian area after the barbaric aggression of the Israeli
Occupation forces on the Gaza strip, as well as the victory achieved
by resistance and the recent developments resulted in the
Palestinian reconciliation.
Al-Ahmar expressed his pleasure and congratulations for succeeding
the Palestinian dialogue in Cairo, affirming the country's keenness
on the Palestinian unification to confront the Zionist enemy.
Al-Quds Parliamentary Committee will continue its work to support
the Palestinian cause, he added.
For his part, Hamas representative expressed his thanks to al-Ahmar
for the country's supporting attitudes towards Palestinian issues,
insisting that the Palestinian people with all its factions bearing
a high esteem and appreciation to the Yemeni people.
He also expressed his heartfelt congratulations for the serious
steps taken by the political parties represented in Parliament for
the extension of the parliament for two years, assuring the depth of
bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
