Blues through to pre-season semi-final

Carlton are through to the semi-finals of the AFL pre-season competition after
beating Hawthorn by 24 points at Docklands on Sunday night.
The Blues trailed by as much as 30 points early in the second quarter, but had
fought back by half-time and grabbed the lead during a seven-goal third term.
Their 2.13.16 (112) to 2.10.10 (88) victory set up a semi-final clash against
Geelong at Docklands on Saturday night.
Brendan Fevola kicked four goals for Carlton, including a nine-pointer, and
onballers Bryce Gibbs, Nick Stevens, Chris Judd and Marc Murphy were busy across the
ground.
Jarryd Roughead booted five goals for the Hawks, who were still without almost half
the side which won last year's premiership grand final.
Collingwood and Essendon play the other semi-final, on Friday night.
