Steps of joining Yemen to Gulf Radio and TV body discussed

SANA'A, Feb. 28 (Saba)- Minister of Information Hussein al-Lawzi
held talks on Saturday with the director of Radio and Television
Body of Gulf Cooperation Council Abdullah Abu Ras over practical
steps to join Yemen to the body.

Abu Ras presented explanation about tasks of the body and its
administrative capacities and activities, pointed out to the role of
the Yemeni Corporation for Radio and Television within its accession
to the body in fields of training and television production as well
as participation in the Radio and TV festivals.

Al-Lawzi highlighted efforts exerted to join Yemen to the Gulf body,
affirming concern of Yemen to enhance media message through its
accession into the body and enhance Yemeni-Gulf partnership in
different fields.

He praised the achievements of the Radio and TV body at the Arab
region.AH
