YOJMC 9th session activities started in Muscat

MUSCAT, Feb. 28 (Saba) - The Yemeni-Omani Joint Ministerial
Committee (YOJMC) started on Saturday in Muscat its 9th session
co-chaired by Minister of Transportation Khaled Ibrahim al-Wazeer
and Omani Minister of Transportation and Communication Khamis Bin
Mubarak al-Alawi.

During the inauguration of the session's activities, Minister of
Transportation Khaled Ibrahim al-Wazeer said that the successful
achievements are not few. They greatly contributed to the march of
joint committee's work and embodied brotherly ties between the two
countries, pointing out that the agendas of this session include a
number of cooperation aspects.

Al-Wazeer confirmed the importance of contribution of all to achieve
particular gravity in the two countries cooperation relations within
achieving contents of the agreements and work to apply them and
translate them into reality.

On his part, Omani minister confirmed the importance of this meeting
because it comes to complete the previous meetings to strengthen
cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

The two sides confirmed their interest to develop and extend
brotherly cooperation aspects between the two countries in various
fields and to make specific seriousness on cooperation relations
within achieving contents of agreements and protocols into practical
reality.

The YOJMC meeting would discuss for two days a number of issues
relating to the march of committee's work in various sectors of land
transport, airlines, marine navigation, environment, agriculture,
trade, economic and investment cooperation, in addition to
cooperation in tourism, social care, health, technical education and
vocational training, public work, justice, exchanging information,
communication and traffics.
