Vietnamese folk arts win applause in Japan
Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnamese art troupe to the Tokyo International Folk Art Festival 2009 won high applause from the audience, said head of the troupe Prof. Hoang Chuong.
During the festival, which took place in Tokyo , Sankai and Osaka from Feb.
15-21, the artists introduced typical Vietnamese culture including "quan ho", "chau
van", and "hat xam".
These performance is part of a programme to promote Vietnamese culture overseas
initiated by the government and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations
(VUFO).-Enditem
