Prime Minister Meets His French Counterpart In Munich

BAGHDAD, IRAQ (NINA) - Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi expressed his pride in the deep relations between Iraq and France and its stand with Iraq until the defeat of Daesh.
Abadi, during his meeting with French Prime Minister Edward Philip and accompanying delegation in his residence in Munich on Saturday morning, according to a statement of his press office "thanked France for its participation in the conference to reconstruct Iraq held in Kuwait."
He added, "We continue to pursue Daesh and build up our capabilities and look forward to the continuing cooperation in security, economic and trade, especially in restoring stability, which is no less important than our war against terrorism," added "Iraq has given a shining example in confronting and defeating Daesh,"
For his part, the French Prime Minister said: "We are pleased with the amazing progress that you have achieved in Iraq and we are with you and we will continue the relationship between our two countries and complete all the tasks until achieving full stability and France supports you in the success of the Kuwait Conference congratulations, expressing optimism about the future cooperation between the two countries in all, stressing that the eradication of Daesh is a priority for France in the region.
