Extra Somali refugees in Yemen

SANA'A, Feb.25 (Saba) - Twenty Somali refugees arrived on Wednesday
in the Dhubab coast in Taiz.

The security bodies said that they gathered the Somali refugees in
cooperation with Yemen Red Crescent and sent them to the main
refuge in the Karaz district of Lahj province.

Early in the day, other 97 Somali refugees arrived in Taiz and
Shabwa. They were sent to the camp as well.

Somali refugees arrive in Yemen almost daily, laying more burdens on
the national fragile economy.

According to last figures, the number of the Somali refugees who
have already arrived in Yemen is exceeding 800.000 displaced people.

Last month, tow ferries carrying over 300 Somali and Ethiopian
displaced people capsized off the Bab El-Mandab strait.

Hundreds were feared dead.
