Yemen, Jordon sign cooperation program in insurance

SANA'A, Feb. 24 (Saba) - The General Organization for Social Insurance signed here on Tuesday with the Social Security Corporation in Jordon a cooperation program for carrying out the agreement in insurance field for this year.

The two sides had held talks during which they discussed developing the cooperation
in several insurance fields and exchanging the training and experiences between the
two organizations in the insurance services field.

The program included a visit paid by a delegation from the human resources employees
in the Yemeni organization to the Jordanian counterpart body in the coming April.

It also included a visit to the Yemeni organization in the coming June by a
delegation from the Jordanian corporation's employees specializing in collection
debts and expanding insurance services fields ,and an identical Yemeni delegation in
the same field will visit the Jordanian corporation in the coming August as well.

Furthermore, a specializing delegation in retirement salaries and injures
compensations from the Jordanian corporation will pay a visit to the Yemeni
organization in the coming October for strengthening cooperation in this field.

The program also included holding the third meeting of the joint technical committee
in January 2010 in Amman to assess what would have been achieved from the next
executive program and preparing for the third cooperation program for the next year.
