YWU, IDB discuss cooperation areas
SANA'A, Feb.23 (Saba) - Yemen Women Union (YWU) and Islamic Development Bank (IDB) discussed here on Monday cooperation areas.
Head of YWU Ramzia al-Eryani held talks with IDB's delegation presided by head of
the Poverty Alleviation Unit Mahjoub on the agricultural incorporating development
project in Abyan province at a coast of $12 million as well as creating common
machineries for carrying out the small finance project in the province.
During the meeting, al-Eryani reviewed the activities of YWU and its programs in the
economic field as well as its strategy and the activities of the network of civil
society organizations for development led by YWU.
The IDB's delegation highly appreciated the role of YWU in supporting economic
fields, expressing the bank's readiness for more cooperation.
