SANA'A, Feb.23 (Saba) - The director general of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Abdul Wahab Ahmed Al-Bader returned home on Monday after an official visit to Yemen.
Upon his departure, Al-Bader said to Saba that he had discussed with Yemeni
officials several economic issues and they signed a final credit agreement to
allocate $50 million to the activities of the Social Fund for Development in Yemen.
Al-Bader highlighted the allocation comes in the framework of Kuwait's $200 million
pledge to Yemen during the London conference of donors.
He pointed out the KFAED would finance during the coming phase a project of setting
