Four people arrested having relics in Sana'a

SANA'A, Feb. 23 (Saba) - Police have seized four people in Sana'a aged 22-45 in connection with possession of a number of ancient relics.

The almotamar.net said the four people were arrested in a Yaris car at the al-Sabeen
area with three man-shaped antiquities including two bronze statues and a third
stone statue.

Last year, authorities thwarted many attempts to smuggle ancient relics. Dozen
people were arrested in connection with attempted smugglings.

Among the arrestees was a notorious Jordanian smugglers who was said bought many
