Vietnamese businesses in Germany boost sustainable development

Berlin (VNA) - The Vietnamese Embassy in Germany held a meeting with nearly 40 outstanding Vietnamese entrepreneurs on Feb. 22 to seek ways to boost the development of Vietnamese business community in this country and Europe at large.

The meeting also aimed to discuss preparations for the 3 rd Congress of the
Vietnamese Business Association in Germany (VBAG) which will take place next month
and the 4 th Forum of the Vietnamese Business Community in Europe slated for this
Autumn.

The participating enterprises expressed their wishes to receive more support and
coordination from the Vietnamese Embassy to build an effective and sustainable
business community in Germany , making practical contributions to the home
country and helping strengthen economic-trade cooperation between the two nations.

Speaking at the meeting, Vietnamese Ambassador Do Hoa Binh praised Vietnamese
businesses for their efforts to improve their positions in the host country and
for their contributions to their homeland.

Binh urged the VBAG to gather more businesspeople to make itself a strong and
prestigious organisation of Vietnamese expatriates in Germany .

The ambassador affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy is ready to support VBAG and
will create favourable conditions for the association to successfully organise the
two above-mentioned events.

He also suggested businesses' closer coordination with the embassy to effectively
implement diplomatic activities, including celebrations of the 35 th anniversary of
Vietnam-Germany diplomatic ties, in order to promote the images of the country and
people of Vietnam.-Enditem
