Saleh confirms State's interest in armed, security forces members





SANA'A, Feb. 22 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh confirmed here on Sunday the
State's interest in the armed and security forces' members, who perform their duties
to serve the country and protect its security and stability.

During his visit to the Police Training School in Sana'a, Saleh got acquainted with
the training progress in the school and the studying programs, praising the school's
role in preparing the security cadres, whom are provided to the security bodies.

The president stressed that the police members should be models in discipline and
good behavior because they deal directly with citizens' ordinary life whether in
traffic, immigration affairs, land, air and sea ports outlets, civil defense or
coastguards fields.

He indicated that the police school is one of the educational sources in the
security field in which the police members gain scientific knowledge developing
their capabilities and enabling them to carry out their duties competently.

The president also highlighted the significance of citizens' cooperation with the
police members to carry out their duties, affirming that the security is the
responsibility of all and concerns all.
