Iran-Italy foreign ministers talk on phone

Rome, Feb 21, IRNA - Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini called his Iranian counterpart Mottaki on Friday.

Informed sources told IRNA that the conversation comes after Italian
FM suggested Iran participate in Afghanistan meeting.
Recently, Frattini in an anti-Zionist meeting in London as well as
during a visit to Italian forces stationed in southern city of Heart
in Afghanistan had proposed Iran attend in Afghanistan meeting for
establishment of security with the US and western countries.
There is no immediate information concerning contents of the
conversation, but informed sources say Iran may be invited to attend
Afghanistan-Pakistan security meeting in June on the sideline of 8
industrial countries summit meeting in the city of Trieste, Italy.
