President Saleh hails Turkish PM stance in Davos
SANA'A, Feb. 18 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh hailed on
Wednesday the brave stand of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip
Erdogan in Davos Forum.
During his meeting with the Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan,
President Saleh welcomed the Turkish investments in the country in
different fields, affirming that they would get all facilities.
For his part, the President referred to the depth of historical
relations between Yemen and Turkey, praising at the same time the
Turkish attitude towards the Arabic and Islamic issues, especially
the Palestinian issue.
The Minister highlighted the President's visit to Turkey last year
which reflected positively in developing the relations between the
two countries in many aspects, indicating that the two sides are
nowadays activating the agreements signed during the visit.
The meeting discussed the bilateral relations and cooperation
aspects between the two countries in various aspects.
A number of international and regional issues of common concerns
headed by Palestinian issue have been discussed in the meeting.
