PM receives Turkish FM

SANA'A, Feb. 18 (Saba)- Prime Minister Ali Mujawar held talks on
Wednesday with the visiting Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan
over bilateral relations between Yemen and Turkey.

The two officials affirmed concern of both countries to enhance
their ties and mutual cooperation in different economic and
investments fields to serve common interests of both nations.

Mujawar highlighted level of the relationship between Yemen and
Turkey, welcoming Turkish investments in Yemen.

He affirmed importance of encouraging private sector in both
countries to contribute to develop economic ties between the two
countries.

For his part, the Turkish official praised Yemeni-Turkish historical
and excellent relations, pointing out to the current coordination
between the two countries over regional issues of common concern.

The two officials also discussed current development in Gaza Strip
after the Israeli offensive.AH
