Iran To Start Exporting 10 Million Cubic Meters Of Gas Per Day To Iraq

BAGHDAD, Iraq (NINA) - Iran's deputy oil minister, Hamid Reza has announced the start of a 10-million-cubic-meter gas export project to Iraq. "In view of Iraq's need for natural gas to consume power plants, the gas export project to Baghdad has been launched and 10 million cubic meters of Iranian gas is being exported to Iraq," Reza said in a statement published by Tasnim news agency. In regard to the implementation of the project to export Iranian gas to Basra, he said "the project to export gas to Basra through the implementation of the transmission line is ready for launch, as 7 billion Tuman of investments were allocated to launch it./ End
